Music has always been a big part of our life, and shows a constant inspiration to our work. Every trip we make we try to absorb like sponges, we get inspired by stages, venues and most importantly visuals. Our digital art was born in Berlin, Germany, one of the mechas of techno and raving, inspired by landmark venues like Sysiphos and was seeded in Pfadfinderei one of the mixed media digital titans of all times. Over the years we would find ourselves exploring different medias, softwares, methodologies and visual realms that we haven’t seen before. We are on a constant journey to create beautiful new worlds which people can let themselves get lost to.
Both Tamthe team members have backgrounds in arts, and bringing that essence to the parties has become a must. VJing is an art that does not always receive the appreciation it deserves, but when done correctly enhances shows enormously, creating sceneries and even touching feelings. All the visuals are created inhouse and from scratch using different techniques, making the shows one of a kind. We try not to box ourselves in a style or methodology, but instead look for new ways to deliver different graphics and messages. We love doing tutorials, learning new softwares, dipping ourselves in the unknown, just to come back heavily beaten up by new knowledge always wiser and stronger.
Some of our visuals can be found online, seen at our shows like sets on cassettes and even enjoyed in the Digital Room at The Dojo, Immersive Art Lounge we put together in 2022. Visuals have become a part of our life and we are on the never ending search for new methodologies, techniques and results. We are starting to use our visuals as art installations. We animate our illustrations, drop ink into tanks, use human bodies with epic set ups, 3d animations, you name it, we’ve done it, or are down to do it. Check out some of the stills of past work we have done and festivals we have been at. We also have a whole section dedicated to the events we’ve done and parties we’ve thrown.
We are always looking to collaborate with artists, to feature artists in our digital room, or even have vjs play shows at the dojo. So please hit us up and let us know what you are interested in doing with us!
